With a strong background in nonprofit management and research, training, and leadership, Derrin acts as the conduit between the needs of the community, and the individuals, partners, sponsors, and students that engage with ProAct.
Jessica Rodriguez Hernandez
VP, Community Impact (she/her/hers)
Jess is a relationship-focused leader with a passion for supporting small and minority owned businesses. Holding true to the words “In order to receive, one must give,” Jessica believes in the importance of educating and consulting our partners on the fruitful impact they create by pouring resources back into their communities.

Director, Partner Engagement (she/her/hers)
Mya has a passion for community service, empowering youth and women which she does through her background with project management, event coordination, and facilitation.
Yassmin Fashir
Community Impact Concierge (she/her/hers)
Born in Sudan, Yass was raised in Indiana and is passionate about social justice as her hands are always involved in community projects. She has a lot of experience traveling and working in different non-profits all over Africa.
Kamryn Schmidt
Community Impact Concierge (she/her/hers)
Through the Civil Air Patrol, Kamryn gained leadership experience while working with other youth which will help her through her role as a CIC. In this role, Kamryn is looking forward to working with schools the most to help the students engage in service.
Melissa Churchwell
Community Impact Concierge (she/her/hers)
Melissa has years of experience strengthening communities through education, training, and service project management. With a focus on empowering others, especially youth, to find their passion through service, she is committed to doing so with enthusiasm and determination.
Carly Reardon
Public Ally (she/her/hers)
Carly grew up in Westfield before attending Butler University for a degree in Arts Administration, a degree which combines the arts, business, and non-profit management.
