Matt Hadley w/ Saint R.: “Do you have ten people in your network to help you if you lose everything?”

ProAct Indy’s mission is to stand in the gap for vulnerable populations while empowering youth to actively transform their communities. And one way that we stand in the gap is by showing gratitude to those who have stood in the gap for us.

Our podcast, Stood in the Gap, showcases the stories of business and community leaders in Indianapolis and beyond. As the show evolves, we want to highlight our youth in an intentional and impactful way. They are now joining the podcast to come alongside our Founder & CEO, Derrin Slack, sharing their stories and questions for the leaders on the show.

Derrin Slack kicks off yet another inspiring episode of Stood in the Gap with Matt Hadley, the Director of Business Development at AP Engineering and Consulting. As someone who had worked in banking and finance for 13 years, naturally Matt thought he had established a strong network of colleagues and peers. That was until he realized that his relationships weren’t actually as strong as he initially thought when leaving to start his own business. It was at this pivotal moment where Matt truly recognized the importance of relationships, both on a personal and professional level. Through this very unique podcast, listeners are encouraged to learn from Matt’s story and being motivated to prioritize their own relationships while still taking on any new challenges they may wish to pursue.
