Registration is Now Open for ProAct’s Youth Empowerment Camp 2020

Registration is now open for ProAct’s 3rd Annual Youth Empowerment Camp | Serve & Learn 2020.

In this immersive service-learning experience, participants will explore social issues affecting the Indianapolis community and plan at least two human-centered local service projects with an organization(s) addressing those issues – and that is the first week!

During the second week of activities, participants will explore the city of Indianapolis and be immersed in a cultural experience where they will not only learn about the history of our city but will be exposed to social issues affecting the communities in our city as well.

Participants will gain awareness of differences between people and recognize the value of serving the community at large; proactively create positive social interactions between peers through mentoring and relationship building; gain more self-confidence and a better self-image, and learn techniques to be more empathetic and tolerant of others.

Please be advised. Our team will closely monitor the COVID-19 Pandemic and will follow any and all public health advisories. The experience of our camp is incredibly effective in person, so if we must postpone due to social distancing requirements, we will postpone, and schedule our camp later in the summer or early fall. We will be in regular communication with you. For all past participants who are used to our camp traveling out of state the second week, we will state in and around Central Indiana for both weeks of camp. Please email us at if you have any questions or concerns.

This camp is for all 6th-12th graders. Scholarships are available – just email to inquire about scholarships. Space is limited so act now.
