How ProAct Works
We connect schools, corporations, and nonprofits to empower our youth and better serve our community. Students partner with a professional mentor who provides support, while nonprofits offer service opportunities and volunteer training.
Through critical service-learning, ProAct helps diverse groups of people cross social, racial, and economic boundaries as vulnerable youth and the adults who work alongside them have a social change orientation, redistribution of power, and opportunity to build authentic relationships.
By connecting schools, businesses, and nonprofits through intentional community engagement, we create ProActive Communities.
